Jamie's Bio

Jamie Agius hails from Goulburn in the NSW Southern Tablelands. Jamie offers
a range of entertainment for your function as a soloist, duo or band.

Jamie has become a regular act since 2010 at the Tudor Hotel in Tamworth for the
Country Music Festival in January as well as the Hats Off Festival in July.

Jamie’s first love is Country Music. His extensive repertoire includes, Country,
Country Rock, Ballads, Australiana, Rock’n’Roll and Pub Rock. Jamie provides cover
versions of such artists as John Williamson, Slim Dusty, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison,
Neil Diamond, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Cold Chisel, Tim McGraw, John Cougar,
Alan Jackson and many, many more as well as his own original compositions.
When playing solo Jamie plays rhythm guitar and plays acoustically as well as using backing
tracks to provide that full band sound that will keep you rockin’ all night long.

Jamie has shared the stage with many great performers including good friend Roo Arcus,
Doug Bruce, Redd Volkaert, Michel Rose and Allan Tomkins. He is also a regular on the
Tomkins Showcases at the Tamworth Festival as well has Allan’s Honky Tonk Show.
Jamie has also opened shows for the likes of Adam Brand and Buddy Goode.

One of Jamie’s main attributes is that he has the ability to play to the crowd,
he can read the crowd and knows how to please all ages.

Jamie has released 2 CDs which he recorded in Cairns with Bill
and Cazna Goodall of CaBle Trax Studios.
The album titles are “Motorcycle Cowboy” and “All I Have To Offer You Is Me” with
songs handpicked by Jamie and consists of Classic Country Music as well as
Modern Country Music

In November 2010, Jamie performed at the 20th Anniversary Tamworth On Parade Spectacular
at Wagga Wagga, where he received the award for “International Country Artist Of The Year”
in recognition of his recording of “All I Have To Offer You Is Me” being the most
requested song by an Australian Independent Artist on Overseas Internet Radio.......

A lot more can be said about Jamie, but it is best left to be said by his performances,
as he always puts 100% in no matter how big or small the crowd. Jamie is also a popular
choice for weddings, engagement parties and birthday parties ranging from 18ths, 21sts
right up to 90th birthday parties.

Jamie has picked up many a new venue in the past and the present, simply from word of mouth,
which is a testament to his popularity as a performer who loves his craft and aims to
please patrons at all venues.
