I hope you are all doing well. January already gone and just came off a great weekend where I did a gig with my little brother Jacob at Appin, surrounded by family, friends and locals.
Well Tamworth Country Music festival has come and gone and I must confess, after seeing posts on Facebook from all my music mates, I can honestly say, I missed it and hopefully I’ll get there next year.
I’ll be returning to Dubbo RSL this coming Saturday night, after a short absence and really looking forward to it. My gig guide has been updated with ninety gigs booked already and more to be added as they come in.
At the moment Jamie & The Shakers has been put on hold and whether there will be shows in the future is still hard to say. I hope there will be, it all depends on the interest shown by venues and patrons.
As I stated in the previous newsletter, I will be performing at a few festivals next year, which I always look forward to as I get to catch up with all the wonderful musician friends that I have made over the years. Some of those festivals are The Cobby River Music Festival in South Australia in June, Myrtleford Music Festival in Victoria in August and the Wangaratta Music Festival in Victoria in November. I will be doing and Elvis floor show at Cobby and Myrtleford during those festivals.
Morning Melodies will be going ahead again at the Goulburn Soldiers Club on The last Wednesday of every month starting back on the 26th of February. New Year’s Eve has been decided for 2025, and will be at the Goulburn Soldiers.
Thank you for tuning in and I hope to see you all soon.
Until the next time, may you and your families and friends stay safe and God Bless.
